This is a 2-day revalidation for The First Aid at Work training course, which conforms to HSE guidance, provides the required set of skills needed by first aiders in most UK workplaces. This gives your employees the ability, skill and knowledge to deal with first aid emergencies. It meets the standard required to help comply with Health and Safety (first aid) regulations. Candidates must be within the validity of their FAW certificate (usually 3 years) to complete this programme, otherwise an initial course must be undertaken. Course duration: 2 days Assessment: Yes Max Capacity: 12 Training target It’s designed for workplaces where a higher risk of injury exists and the findings of a risk assessment is that first-aiders are required, for example warehouses, transport depots or building sites. This would also be recommended for commercial premises where large numbers of people work or visit, for example football/event stadiums, supermarkets or Malls etc. Delegates must be 18+ and have a basic command of the English language to attend this course. Please Note – A requirement to complete this course is that a candidate can carry out unaided CPR, so a general level of fitness is required and an ability to carry out CPR on the floor.
